Special Purpose Districts
The following actions are the recommended steps for Special
Purpose Districts in Chelan County:
- Update your operating plans to reflect the change from the
Incident Command System, to NIMS.
- Have your staff complete the online NIMS Training Course.
A certificate will be sent to them upon completion. This
should only take between 1-2 hours for each person to complete.
The online course is available at

- Maintain copies of your employees' NIMS Certificates in
their training files.
